Lynn M. Taussig, MD

Dr. Taussig retired CEO of National Jewish Medical and Research Center.
Currently, serves as a Special Advisor to the Provost at the University of Denver. He serves as the chair of the Steering Committee for the National Institutes of Health's Childhood Asthma Research and Education (CARE) Network and also chairs Data Safety Monitoring Boards for two other NIH Departments. He was Professor and Chair of the Department of Pediatrics, and Director, Steele Children's Research Center at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center. He is a recipient of numerous honors including the Distinguished Achievement Award from the American Thoracic Society, and the Kendig Award from the American Academy of Pediatrics and has lectured extensively around the world. Dr. Taussig is a graduate of Harvard University and Washington University School of Medicine.
